Homeowners will need to have a water meter key in order to turn your water on and off at the meter barrel.
NOTE: PLEASE USE CAUTION WHEN REMOVING METER COVER.
Remember to replace cover and foam plug. The Homeowner is responsible for any damage caused by removing cover and any leaks on your side of the water meter. Kane County recommends always turn meter off at your side of the street when leaving property for long periods of time from their home.
Where to Buy a Water Meter Key:
The water meter key can be purchased at True Value Hardware Store.
